Medal UPDATE!!!

Michael Phelps has knocked down 1 gold medal on his way to a career high of 10 gold medals. He is attempting to surpass the olympic record of 7 medals in one game.
The new medal count leaves the United States with 5 total medals, 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze. the extra bronze is courtesy of Lochte. The Venue was Men's 400m Individual Medley.
The Silver medal was given to Hungary.


South Korea's Taehwan Park won Gold in the Men's 400m freestyle. China's Lin Zhang won silver, pushing China's total to 3 medals. America's Jensen Larsen won Bronze, making the U.S. Total 6 medals. Park won with a final time of 3:41.86 with Lin Zhang trailing by .58 of a second.


Australia's Stephanie Rice won Gold in the Women's 400m Individual Medley. Zimbabwe's Kirsty Coventry came in second. America's Katie Hoff won bronze with a final time of 4:31.71. The U.S. Total is now 7 medals, 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze.
